"Christian Courage"

2Timothy 1:3~8

I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy. I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or shamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,

We need paul, Timothy in our lives.
To remind ourselves.
Every great man of faith had people helping them, encouraging them.
Live life together.
You need Spiritual friend.
Don't let yourself isolated.

I made a short memo during the sermon.
It healed my heart and I am really thankful to God that he is really doing amazing things in my life.

Peace in my mind.

So who won't need peace in their mind?
But there is only one way to find peace.
God is the only way.
I shouldn't forget this. Nobody should.
I didn't want to show my embarassing situation.
Sometimes you have to try to show your feelings.
If you keep it with you it only comes out as an anger, sad tears, lazyness...
Yes Saila I am not strong but God is and I live in Him.

눈물

I tend to express my feelings in Korean so that is why there are lot of things posted in Korean. Don't try to read them you can't understand. :)
I will tell you right here in English.
I was reading a thesis about 'Behavioral pattern of apartment residents in macro perspective and usage of and need for community facilities'. Sounds really something but it was not a big deal actually quite simple.
Anyhow this is not a problem.

I had meeting with head leaders in our school because my lovely dear leader in our team had things to do so I had to attend because I am the assistent of my head leader. Actually I had a good meal and good leacture about leadership. Listening to the regulations were so boring as you can imagine. But I had good time there. Met a nice guy next to me who was really talkative. He had 2 accidents on his bike because of cars.

hmmm... well... the most important thing of today was that the lecture of leadership was so nice. I realized that I completly lost my self esteem. I was so sad that I wanted to cry. You know I am a major weeper. :) Lately I cried a lot. I can't help myself crying. I definately need some help. I become setimental so easily. People say I am strong and I am. But I am getting weaker and weaker everyday. I think losing my self esteem could be one of the most fact of being like this.

리더쉽과 도시혁신 (Leadership and city renovation)

10명의 도시를 바꾼 지도자에 대한 책이다. 매우 유익한 책으로써 다양한 리더쉽의 형태와 종류를 관찰할 수 있었다. 10명의 지도자들 가운데에는 여자가 3명이 포함되어 있었다. 4명의 아시아인이 있고, 2명의 유럽인이 있다. 한명의 남미 그리고 3명의 북미 사람이다.

그들 각각에게는 참 다양한 능력이 있었고 각가마다 추구하는 것도 다양했다. 그 중 몇가지 특징적인 것들을 한 번 되집고 넘어가길 바란다.

먼저 사람이다. 대한민국 장성군의 김흥식 군수는 무엇보다도 공무원의 교육을 가장 중요시 했다. 교육을 통해 사람을 변화시키는 것이 그가 생각한 가장 특징적인 사업 혹은 투자가 아니었나 생각한다. 어쩌면 모든 것의 기본이 될 수 있는 사람들의 인식 자체를 변화시틸 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 도입하여 다양한 움직임(movement)을 자연스레 만들었고 모든 사람이 함께 참여하여 훨씬 더 건설적인 프로그램을 수행하기도 한다.

"세계화와 지방화가 동시에 진행되는 현대 지식 시반 사회에서는 개인의 지식 창출 및 확산 능력에 따라 지방의 경쟁력이 결정되도, 이것이 또한 국가 경쟁력으로 이어진다. 그래서 인적 자원 개발이 가장 중요하다. 새 지식이 낡은 지식을 밀어내고 자시 잡으면 사람이 변하게 되고, 그 삶이 지역을 변화시키며 새로운 비전을 만들어 낸다."

일본 미에현 지사 기타가와 마사야스는 '직원의 의식개혁'의 행정개혁운동을 실시하게 되는데 이것은 '사와야카 운동'으로 그 특징을 설명할 수 있다.

사 서비스 <- 행정의 가치를 높인다.

와 와카리야스사(알기쉬움) <- 생활자의 기점에서 행정을 바라본다.

야 야루키(의욕) <- 한 사람 한 사암이 목표를 세워 도전한다.

카 가이카쿠(개혁) <- 기존의 생각을 버리고 백지에서 생각한다.

이 운동을 더욱 활성화 시키고 이를통해 직원들이 스스로 참여의식을 갖고 성취감을 맛볼 수 있는 개혁을 이루기 위해 기존의 '직원제안'을 바꾸었다. 이 제안은 기존의 직원의 의식을 바꾸고 누구나 공감하는 일상적인 생각이 실현될 수 있는 현청 만들기에 힘을 합한다는 뜻이 담겨있었다. 각 직원이 제안한 내용은 직접 담당과로 보내어졌고, 실현 가능란 반짝 제안이라면 단 한줄이하고 환영하는 식이다. 이 운동은 이후에 더우거 활발해 져 더 활발한 참여를 이끄러 낼 수 있었다.

더 나아가 주민과 함께 호흡하는 것은 도시의 커뮤니티 형성의 가장 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 프랑스의 앙드레 상티니는 인터넷을 통해서 주민의 의견을 받는 등의 노력을 보여준다. 또한 일본 히로시마 시장 아끼바 타다토시 또한 시민과 함께 추진하는 시정을 통해 정보공개방법을 받아드려 최대한 시정의 투명성을 인식하도록 공개범위를 넓혀 전국 제일의 공개 도시로 평가받고 있다. 아끼바 타나토시는 앙드레와 같이 인터넷을 통한 대화를 하는 방법 말고도 직접 대면하여 시민들과 직접 이야기 하기도 한다. 미시간주 주니사인 제니퍼 M. 그랜홈은 방송을 통해서 시민들과 활발한 의사소통을 노력하였다. 그녀는 직접 시에서 하는 일들과 계획들을 자신의 육성으로 전달하면서 시민들과 호흡하였다.

기술 혁신은 도시를 발전시키는 또 하나의 중요한 요소이다. IT 산업(장성군, )은 물론이거니와 최근에 많이 이슈가 되고 있는 친환경 농업(장성군, 꾸리찌바)

기업유치는 도시를 유지하고 성장하게끔 하는 또 다른 원천 중 하나이다. 하나의 좋은 예로 프랑스의 이시-레-물리노와 독일의 스투트가르트가 있다. 이시-레-물리노는 혁신 거점(Pôle d'innovation) 을 통해 1991년 중소기업부에서 기술개발 및 혁신 부분에서는 우수하나 인적자원 및 경제적 여견이 취약한 중소기업을 지원하기 위해 마련한 제도이다. 이로 말미암아 수많은 기업들이 이 도시에 자신의 기업을 유치하기 위해 많은 노력을 기울인다고 한다. 이에 따라 고용창출로 많은 젊은 층의 인구유입이 늘어나면서 자연히 인구도 증가하는 현상을 가지고 왔다. 셜리 C. 플랭클린이 시장으로 있는 아틀란타는 세계적인 기업들이 본사를 두고 있는 도시로써 막대한 창출효과를 가지고 있다.

잘 연결, 개발 되어있는 교통망, 더 나아가 infrastructure는 도시의 중요한 자원으로써 유통의 원활함은 곧 그 도시의 경제성장에도 큰 영향을 주는 것을 알 수 있다. 그 예로 기업도시의 전형인 독일의 스튜트가르트가 있다. 스투트가르트는 전형적인 복합 기업도시로써 전기, 자동차, 기계 등의 제조업 분야의 사업이 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있으며, 그 밖에 섬유, 의류, 정밀기기, 맥주, 고급목공예품, 가죽제품, 제화, 악기, 화학제품, 제지 등의 산업도 활발하다. 이 모든 것은 도로, 철도, 항공, 하운에 이르기까지 총망라되어 있는 교통망 때문이다. 더 나아가 국제화에 한걸음 더 나아가는 글로벌적인 거점으로 자리잡음을 알 수 있다.

지도자의 능력은 또한 창조적인 발상을 통해 나타나기도 한다. 브라질 꾸리찌바의 시장 자이메 레느네르는 이렇게 말한다.

"재미를 찾아야 합니다. 내 작업과 생활 모구에 재미있어 합니다. 우리는 매일 웃고 삽니다. 우리는 우리를 행복하게 만드는 일을 하고 있습니다."

그의 창조성을 다른 개발 도상국에게 희망을 주는 역할을 했다. 세계적으로 인정받는 친환경적인 도시로 선정 되었으며 그 노력을 통해 한 도시에 편리함을 넘어서는 웃음을 가져다 주었다. 그 외에도 캐나다의 미시사가 시장인 헤이즐 맥컬리언, 중국 대련시장의 보시라이는 그들의 특유의 리더쉽을 통해 한 도시에 커다란 영향력을 불러 이르켰다. 독일의 스투트가르트의 시장인 볼프강 슈스터는 기독교 윤리의"소명의식"을 바탕으로 하는 가치관을 가지고 있다. 그는 시민들의 지속적인 지지를 얻을 수 있었던 것은 인품이나 전문성 모든 측면에서의 장점을 가지도 있는 인물로 평가되었기 때문이다.그는 기독교 민주 연합(CDU) 소속의 최연소 의원으로 활동하기도 했다. 그는 항상 정직합과 진정성으로 시민들이게서 신뢰를 얻는 시장이다.

Total Truth

I have just finished the first chapter and I have to tell you that this book is so amazing. I haven't finished yet but I am really looking forward to read the next chapter. When you read this it is good to focus on the structure and the direction which represents true nature(intrinsic) and exsistence each.

The main concept of this book is 'worldview'. Basically how we deal with our life with christian worldview. Most of us do not have the right concept of having a proper view or attitide of life in church and the life out of church. In the bottom line there shouldn't be two differnt side in our life. This book tells us from the very beginning of creation and how it is formed. And further more it will be looking at the direction, the path we have been through. Why and how has these two side concept came from. Then of course it will be discussing about how we can come over this problems.

I higly recommed you to read this book. It is very precise and logical. I personally think this book will defintely change my attitude of being christian.
